Workmanship and Training
Giving back to the industry.
How would you know if you are getting a high standard of work from an electrician? After all, the majority of their labour is hidden. In reality, you would need to have experience in the industry to know good from bad.
The Hale standard
Right from the beginning of his apprenticeship, Jonathan Hale has always endeavoured to produce electrical work of the highest quality. Jonathan has always taken his workmanship seriously. He insists on this attitude toward all work done within the company.
This is achieved through - one on one training, regular training with product suppliers, and having the 'Hale standard' to work up to.
Being Organised and Tidy
Whilst we do our best to plan work, it should be noted that electricians work in a reactive (essential service) industry.
Therefore we endeavour to be as organised as possible, and each team member is encourage to clean and tidy their work vehicles weekly, so they start each week fresh. This simple task of keeping their work space clean and tidy is reflected in the more complicated tasks they deal with each day at work.
These images are just some of the work that our apprentices have done this in the past and it what we expect for all future work in our team.
Apprenticeships
Jonathan believes it's important to give back to the industry because skilled electricians are hard to find. Also, he believes it is vital to train other people, so the industry remains strong. He also wants to give back to the industry that he has loved being in for over 20 years.
Since Jonathan has worked in the industry he has been responsible for training, over a dozen men and women.
